Roundexa ("we", "our", "us") is an AI-powered interview preparation platform operated by Roundexa (India). Our registered email address is support@roundexa.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our website and services.

2. Information We Collect

Phone number — used for OTP-based authentication. We do not store OTPs.
Resume content — uploaded voluntarily by you to personalise interview questions. Stored securely and never shared with third parties.
Interview responses — text answers you provide during mock interviews, used solely to generate AI feedback for you.
Payment information — processed entirely by Razorpay. We do not store card numbers, UPI IDs, or bank details on our servers.
Usage data — pages visited, features used, error logs. Used to improve the product.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and personalise our interview preparation service.
To generate AI-powered feedback on your interview responses.
To process payments and add credits to your account.
To send you important service notifications (we do not send marketing SMS/email without consent).
To detect and prevent fraud or misuse of the platform.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

OpenAI — your interview questions and answers are sent to OpenAI's API to generate feedback. OpenAI processes this data under their own privacy policy.
Razorpay — payment processing. They receive only what is necessary to complete the transaction.
Cloud infrastructure providers — our servers (database, file storage) are hosted on secure cloud platforms.

5. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@roundexa.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We use only functional cookies (JWT token stored in localStorage for authentication). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed credentials, and restricted database access. However, no system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password and do not share your OTP with anyone.

8. Children's Privacy

Roundexa is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of Roundexa after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
